News Photographer (Danville VA Bureau)

Requirements

• At least 2 years of shooting experience and technical knowledge of editing and videography equipment
• Team-player who can produce good stories under tight deadlines
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to operate ENG news vehicles
• Able to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Experience with Adobe Premiere and LiveU is a plus
• Able to work as a team or independently

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for storytelling
• Full-time dayside Monday-Friday shift, but willing to work nights and weekends for breaking news, weather, sports, or right stories

Pay

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $16.50 to $17.68 per hour.

Schedule

This is mostly a dayside Monday-Friday shift. But you must be willing to also work nights and weekends when breaking news, breaking weather, sports, or the right news story presents itself.
