About the role

At FOX 7 Austin, you'll be part of a fast-paced, audience-first newsroom. Your responsibilities include creating and distributing content in real-time, collaborating with reporters, and potentially stepping in front of the camera.

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute content in real-time, adapting to the needs of digital audiences.
• Collaborate with reporters and other team members to ensure timely and engaging content delivery.
• Be prepared to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and be available to travel for out-of-town assignments.
• Work in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, bending, and working outdoors.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in small to medium-sized markets.
• Your resume and reel should demonstrate a strong commitment to compelling storytelling, particularly for digital platforms.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Pay & Schedule

The starting hourly rate for this role is $20.00-25.00, with final offers dependent on education, skills, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.

Schedule

This role requires flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
