Newborn Hearing Screening Programme Co-ordinator

About the role

We are looking to appoint a Newborn Hearing Screening Co-Ordinator to take operational responsibility for organising the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme in Shropshire including the management, training and development of the Newborn Hearing Screening Team in accordance with the policies of the National Newborn Hearing Screening programme.

Responsibilities

• Take professional and operational responsibility for organising the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme in Shropshire.
• Manage, train and develop the Newborn Hearing Screening Team in accordance with the policies of the National Newborn Hearing Screening programme.
• Coordinate local NSHP data issues and record keeping for the local NSHP.

Requirements

• GCSEs at grades 4 or above including Maths and English (or equivalent).
• In-depth knowledge of the newborn screening programme.

Schedule

Part-time position (18.75 hours per week) based at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.
