About the role

The Inventory Manager leads, coaches, and embodies Nordstrom values for the Inventory Control team. This role focuses on solution-oriented approaches to meet or exceed customer needs and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and drive execution of inventory management best practices and standards to achieve unit-level accuracy.
• Coach and develop the team to enhance productivity and deliver desired outcomes.
• Oversee the execution of Inventory Control functions.
• Deliver staffing and scheduling needs based on company forecasts to ensure execution of inventory control activities, including during normal cadence and key event timeframes.
• Manage labor expenses and improve individual and collective team productivity.
• Hire and retain top talent while building a bench for future roles.
• Share business updates and initiatives with the team to streamline communication and change management.
• Create a fun and inclusive work environment to support an "ALL IN TO WIN" culture.
• Champion continuous improvement.
• Support the customer experience by driving inventory accuracy standards in a digital world.

Requirements

• For Nordstrom Stores Roles: Prior experience in a Rack Store is preferred.
• For Nordstrom Rack Roles: Prior experience in a Nordstrom Store is preferred.
• Proven success in current role with a strong track record of delivering results.
• Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with store managers, area/regional managers, and other leaders.
• Excellent communication and strong team-building skills.
• Talent for influencing others and leading change.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and follow-through skills.

Pay

Pay range: $48,000.00 - $77,000.00 Annual. Pay offers are dependent on location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
