Job Summary
The New Product Introduction Project Manager will help manage how new products are implemented across the organization. This role is crucial for ensuring successful implementation of new and improved equipment and processes that benefit car wash customers and operators.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including risk assessments and mitigation plans.
- Work closely with engineers to help projects stay on time and within budget.
- Allocate and optimize resources to meet project objectives.
- Maintain clear and open communication channels with project stakeholders.
- Provide regular project status updates and reports to senior management.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Track project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and vendors as needed.
- Help with different documentation tasks through the development process including requirements gathering, testing, manufacturing readiness, installation, and general communication.
- Maintain accurate records of design changes and project progress.
- Performs work independently.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field and 2+ years of experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of project management software.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented working style.
- Ability to work as part of a team with good interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel 15% of time.
- If tasked to drive, must have a clean driving record and a valid Driver's License.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
