New Product Design Engineer Rotation Associate

About the role

The New Product Design Engineer Rotational Program is a two-year development program designed to build future engineering leaders across our diversified portfolio of operating companies. This full-time program provides early-career mechanical engineering professionals with immersive, hands-on experience in product design, testing, and sales engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering projects involving new product development, testing, manufacturing support, and process improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and production teams.
• Audit bills of materials and work instructions to ensure alignment with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Present project findings and recommendations to engineering and business leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in product design, testing, or manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex engineering data.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in CAD software and testing equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with product design, testing, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
