Host Background

Both hosts are doctors. Michelle Mudge-Riley is in solo practice as a pediatric cardiologist and has experience in hospital-based and private practice settings. Rich Berning successfully transitioned out of clinical medicine eight years ago and now helps other physicians enhance their career strategy, both in and out of direct clinical care.

Podcast Purpose

The hosts aim to address a gap in business skills and training in medical school and training. They believe these skills were gained through experience and want to provide guidance to other doctors to avoid common pitfalls and enhance their career and life satisfaction without the need for additional schooling or extensive time investment.
