New Patient Coordinator (Madison)

About the role

If you are looking to begin a career in orthodontics, this is the springboard position for you. You will greet new patients, welcome them to the practice, and take records (pictures and x-rays) that will be used to set a treatment plan. This role supports patient case acceptance and clinic goals while providing a positive experience for patients.

Responsibilities

• Take clear x-rays and photos of patients.
• Take accurate scans for retainers.
• Assist in sterilizing equipment and maintain a clean working environment, including the picture and x-ray area.
• Work with the Treatment Coordinator to ensure patient case acceptance through a “warm hand-off.”
• Assist in meeting and/or exceeding monthly and annual clinic goals.
• Cover topics such as payment options and provide general information about insurance coverage related to orthodontics.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities of the role, including administrative tasks, when traveling to another clinic.
• Participate in marketing events.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to travel and transport yourself to other practice locations.
• Minimum of 6 months of chairside experience.

Schedule

Monday – Wednesday: 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday & Friday: 6:45 AM – 3:00 PM
2 Saturdays per month
Location: 1710 Eagan Rd, Madison, WI 53704
Travel availability to Beloit and Menomonee Falls required.

Pay

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour plus bonuses.
