New Patient Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Greet new patients and welcome them to the practice.
• Take records (pictures and x-rays) to set a treatment plan for new patients.
• Take clear x-rays and photos.
• Take accurate scans for retainers.
• Assist in sterilizing equipment.
• Maintain a clean working environment, including the picture and x-ray area.
• Work with the Treatment Coordinator to ensure patient case acceptance through a “warm hand-off.”
• Assist in meeting and/or exceeding monthly and annual clinic goals.
• Cover topics such as payment options and provide general information regarding insurance coverage related to orthodontics.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities of the role, including administrative tasks, when traveling to another clinic.
• Participate in marketing events.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to travel and transport self to other practice locations.
• Minimum 6 months of chairside experience.

Schedule

• Monday – Wednesday: 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday & Friday: 6:45 AM – 3:00 PM
• 2 Saturdays per month
• Two 9:45 AM – 6:00 PM shifts per month

Primary location: 13117 S. La Grange Rd, Orland Park, IL 60462. Travel required to Kedzie, Burbank, and Pilsen/Willowbrook.

Pay

$17 per hour.
