About the Role

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is recruiting motivated, compassionate individuals to provide top-notch patient care as part of our nonprofit mission to prioritize individualized care for patients facing chronic kidney disease. No dialysis experience is needed—we provide paid training. The New Nurse Graduate provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis or hospital services units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs ensure safe care and prioritize the highest quality outcomes for every patient.

Schedule

• 4 days a week—10-hour shifts
• Sundays off for In-Center RNs
• No overnight shifts

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 3-month comprehensive education program, including classroom sessions, job shadowing, and one-on-one skills training
• Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physicians and families
• Prepare dialysis machines and treatment supplies, ensuring quality standards are met
• Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
• Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching, including relevant documentation
• Administer and chart all prescribed medications under the supervision of a registered nurse
• Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews
• Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
• Assist in medication inventory maintenance
• Contribute to training new staff members as directed
• Additional tasks as requested

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Desire to collaborate with care teams
• Ability to problem solve
• Accredited nursing degree required
• Dialysis experience not required; job shadow opportunities available
• New graduates encouraged to apply
