About the role

Join ABI Resources and become a crucial part of helping those recovering from brain injuries, strokes, and TBI live and recover at home. With a supportive and inclusive team culture, you will feel valued and appreciated while providing essential care to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of home and community life for clients.
  • Ensure consistent safety for clients.
  • Provide a healthy and professional friendship to clients.
  • Support personal hygiene and dressing needs.
  • Schedule, attend, and report on medical and therapeutic appointments.
  • Shop, cook, and clean with the client.
  • Organize consistent exercise, socialization, and entertainment activities.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education.
  • One year of experience working with disabilities preferred, but not required.
  • Car, driver’s license, proof of insurance.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • A letter from a person and/or employer verifying experience.
