Who This Is For

The firm welcomes attorneys from AmLaw firms, respected regional firms, boutiques, in-house roles, and government positions who are ready for partnership and value autonomy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of practice experience
  • Background at an AmLaw 100/200 firm, respected regional firm, or sophisticated boutique
  • Demonstrated ability to develop or support client relationships
  • Comfortable working independently in a distributed environment
  • Licensed and in good standing in New York
  • Broad form litigation experience, including extensive experience in general liability and insurance defense cases, including personal injury/Labor Law matters
  • Handle litigation matters from investigation through trial or settlement
  • Analyze and evaluate claims to develop legal strategy and advise clients and insurance carriers on efficient resolutions
  • Defend and take depositions, draft all key litigation documents, and coordinate with clients, insurance carriers, and legal teams at all stages of litigation
  • Self-starter, takes ownership, and comfortable in court; trial experience preferred

Location Flexibility

While the firm operates on a national platform, attorneys must be able to appear in court or before agencies in their licensed jurisdictions when required.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Compensation Structure: Partners are compensated under a performance-based Eat What You Kill model tied to fees actually collected by the firm.
  • 30% of collected fees on matters the Partner originates; plus 50% of collected fees attributable to the Partner’s personal time worked.
  • Where a Partner both originates and performs work on a matter, both components apply.
  • Compensation varies based on origination volume, hours worked, billing rates, realization, and collections.
  • There is no cap on earning potential.
  • Good-faith estimated annual compensation range: $150,000 to $2,500,000+, depending on individual performance and practice economics.
  • Benefits: Partners may elect from tiered benefit options made available by the firm. Available offerings vary by tier and location and may include access to group insurance programs, retirement savings options, professional liability coverage, and firm-provided operational and administrative support.
