Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse portfolio of litigation matters, including employment disputes, land use/zoning issues, education law matters, cannabis law issues, corporate & business litigation, government-related litigation, commercial litigation, and business litigation.
- Representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
- Providing sound legal advice to clients on complex legal matters and potential litigation risks.
- Developing and implementing effective litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients.
- Collaborating with other partners, associates, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Keeping abreast of developments in the law and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
- Participating in business development activities to attract new clients and expand the firm's client base.
Requirements
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in litigation, with a focus on employment law, land use/zoning, education law, cannabis law, corporate & business litigation, government-related litigation, commercial litigation, and business litigation.
- Proven track record of success in litigation, including trial experience.
- Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong client service orientation and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong business development skills and ability to attract new clients.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.

Pay
$200,000 - $300,000 per year (compensation range is estimated and depends on level and portable business).
