General Purpose
To oversee community sales and to supervise the selling and closing process of new residential homes for buyers in the Dayton and Northeast Houston Texas area.
Supervision Received
Works under the direct supervision of the Area Sales Manager and Sales Director.
About the role
- Full-time, exempt position
- Location: Various Dayton and Northeast Houston locations in Texas (indoor and outdoor)
- Hours: 11 a.m.–6 p.m. and 10 a.m.–5 p.m. (changes with daylight saving time)

Responsibilities
- Oversee residential community sales activities
- Conduct marketing for residential communities
- Provide outstanding customer service: greet and acknowledge customers, maintain awareness of promotions, advertisements, and financing options
- Communicate customer requests to the Area Sales Manager
- Maintain show homes and coordinate their relocation when needed
- Negotiate and sign contracts; set closings; work with lenders
- Set goals and personal business plans
- Monitor customer preferences to focus sales efforts
- Present recommendations to the Area Sales Manager
- Attend weekly meetings and staff meetings to communicate progress
- Visit realtors and plan area events
- Attend public and marketing events, exhibits, seminars, and national & state sales training events
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience in any industry preferred
- Associate’s degree or two years of college/university completion required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, Public Relations, or related field preferred
- Availability to work 3 weekends per month
- Flexibility to work in different communities throughout Montgomery & Liberty Counties
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

- Social media experience (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
- General office practices proficiency
- Ability to understand financial facts related to buying homes

- Ability to manage personnel and work with diverse personalities

Work Environment
Office environment with moderate noise level; occasionally outdoors.
Physical Demands
Occasionally required to sit and use fingers to handle or feel; stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, and stoop or kneel. Must be able to carry equipment up to 30 lbs. Subject to driving to various locations in varying weather conditions. Safety-sensitive position.
