About the role

HCA Healthcare offers sponsorship for Canadian and Mexican students who meet the qualifications for a TN Visa to EB3. Applicants must be new graduate nurses; those not located in the U.S. or who did not recently graduate from a nursing program should not apply. The HCA Healthcare Residency Program at Lee's Summit Medical Center is a year‑long, paid program that provides hands‑on experience, advanced clinical training in a specialty area, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship with a facility preceptor, skills evaluation through simulations, mentoring from nurse leaders, and participation in an evidence‑based practice project. Residents work alongside nurse educators, experienced nurses, and fellow residents to transition from student nurse to registered nurse. Relocation to Kansas City may be required, and applications can be submitted up to six months in advance. HCA Healthcare has been recognized as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies® for over ten years and has invested an estimated $3.7 billion in charitable care and uncompensated services.
