New Graduate Nurse - Full-Time

About the role

The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the standards of nursing care. This role requires completing a nursing program and obtaining licensure within 90 days of graduation to maintain employment.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on managing illness, injury, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Use critical thinking to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively, promoting patient-centered care.
• Evaluate patient responses and modify care plans accordingly.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: relevant experience and additional qualifications.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism.
