New Graduate Nurse - Full-Time

About the role

The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, following completion of a nursing program and prior to licensure. This position requires obtaining licensure within 90 days of graduation to maintain employment. The position supports new graduates in gaining clinical experience and preparing for licensure, with opportunities across various hospitals and specialties.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication use.
• Use critical thinking to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively, promoting patient and family-centered care.
• Evaluate patient responses and modify care plans accordingly.
• Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
• This role is safety-sensitive, requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
