About the role
New Grad RN Resident – Orthopedics
Responsibilities
- Assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care
- Interact directly with patients, families and visitors
- Enhance patients' experience and supply healthcare information as needed
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- New grad RN OR less than one year of RN work experience
- Must be able to push bariatric patients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Healthcare experience preferred
Skills
- Ability to participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs
- Ability to provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach
- Ability to establish and/or revise priorities for patient care
- Ability to respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk
- Ability to seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently
- Ability to document in patients’ medical records

Pay
- Minimum hourly: $35.50
- Maximum hourly: $55.60
