New Grad RN Resident – Neuro Stepdown

Cleveland Clinic · Cleveland, OH · 6 days ago
On-siteOTHR$35.5/hrFull-time

About the role

Cleveland Clinic’s new Neurological Institute, scheduled to open in 2026, will be a state-of-the-art facility that makes it easier to treat high-acuity patients — those suffering from brain tumors, strokes, and complex spine injuries — without them ever having to leave the facility. Part of the new Neurological Institute is a 210-bed inpatient area with enhancements that include modular spaces, floor-to-ceiling windows in all-private rooms, video technology to monitor patients, a “touchdown” space with computer between every two rooms on inpatient floors, and relaxing lavender rooms on each inpatient floor to offer caregivers an area to decompress.

Cleveland Clinic’s H62/H63 Neurology Stepdown Unit provides top-quality patient care to diverse populations of neurological and medical-surgical patients. Caregivers in this unit care for young adult, adult, and geriatric patients with varying diagnoses such as ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, subdural hematomas, status epilepticus/seizures, brain tumors, neuromuscular disorders, and spinal injuries. Complex neurological procedures — including intracranial pressure monitoring, seizure monitoring, lumbar punctures, blood transfusions, corpak placements, cervical traction placements, and central/arterial line placement — are commonly performed in this unit. Caregivers can also float to med/surg units six months after hire.
