Responsibilities

  • Works assigned tasks to meet schedule and may coordinate details with other departments.
  • Recognizes problems beyond capabilities and learns from experts in the area.
  • Learns steps involved to incorporate process improvements.
  • Performs routine functions requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • May perform small component tests to support senior engineers.
  • Develops technical writing skills (procedures, reports, etc.).
  • Gains exposure to tested products and their basic applications in the field.
  • Observes processes and suggests minor improvements under supervision.

Requirements

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or international equivalent).
  • Basic skills in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Fundamental knowledge of commercial and in-house analytical packages (e.g., Excel, equation solver software).
  • Basic understanding of component function, testing, manufacturing processes, drawings, and geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
  • Effective time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and interpret industry and Woodward technical standards, including quality system standards and PLC processes.

This position requires use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. Persons (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) or eligible to obtain required authorizations.
