New Grad Estimator
About the role
Along with the Senior Estimator, Lead Estimator and/or Estimating Manager, you will develop accurate, timely and detailed cost estimates on large, complex heavy civil projects for bid-build, design-build, CM/GC, PPP and Engineer, Procure and Construct (EPC) projects. You will support delivery of properly organized estimates, budgets and schedules, including managing Skanska’s risk.
The role includes accurate quantity surveys, preparation of subcontractor and vendor work scopes, quote analysis, and estimating the cost of self-perform work. You will be a self-starter who works efficiently, meets critical deadlines, and collaborates both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
- Develop accurate, timely and detailed cost estimates for large, complex heavy civil projects
- Support delivery of properly organized estimates, budgets and schedules
- Manage Skanska’s risk on projects
- Perform accurate quantity surveys
- Prepare subcontractor and vendor work scopes
- Conduct quote analysis

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar technical training/experience
- 3 years of prior relevant experience
- Practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience

Pay
Salary range: USD $78,700.00 – $98,100.00 per year
