New Business Developer, Hartford Metro
About the role
CGI is seeking an experienced and successful commercial sector business developer across multiple verticals in the Hartford metro. This role is instrumental in strengthening CGI's market positioning, accelerating large deal cultivation, enhancing executive relationships, and expanding the visibility and adoption of CGI's services and intellectual property (IP) assets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities within new and existing accounts, leading strategic pursuits and guiding proposal building to create tailored business solutions.
- Maintain a strong track record of winning opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with C level client executives, aiming to become their trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction in partnership with account management teams.
- Collaborate with solution architects and SMEs to design, propose, and execute solutions for complex client problems, leveraging creativity and experience in advanced business and technology environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years of professional experience in defining, selling, and delivering complex technology and business solutions in a consulting environment, with a strong track record in business development and strategic deal closure across industries.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Insurance industries a plus.
- Experience leading the strategy for large diverse capture teams focused on multiyear, multi hundred/ million/billion-dollar deals.
- Proven success supporting or cultivating large, complex, IT Outsourcing deals.
- Strong knowledge of solution positioning leveraging technology services and IP assets.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain C suite and senior executive relationships in the Boston metro.
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision making skills, with the ability to prioritize initiatives that drive business growth with minimal guidance.
- Strong presence, self awareness, and communication skills across all organizational levels, including public speaking and thought leadership.
Qualifications

Benefits
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $140,300.00 - $310,700.00. CGI's benefits are offered to eligible professionals on their first day of employment to include:

To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $140,300.00 - $310,700.00.
