Job Duties
- Establish proper identification of the new customer.
- Verify with Chex System, or equivalent, to determine if the customer is eligible to open accounts with us.
- Consult with supervisor for approval if further approval is needed to open or refuse to open new accounts.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of bank's existing, new products and services offered.
- Comply with all Bank policies in handling/opening all accounts including all interest and non-interest bearing accounts and safe deposit boxes.
- Answer all inquiries regarding interest rate, depository accounts, and other services that Bank offers.
- Redirect all loan inquiries to the branch loan department.
- Filing new account reports, new/closed signature and new accounts documentation and information sheet.
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned by management.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a New Accounts Representative REQUIRED.
- Bilingual in Chinese and English.
- Excellent customer service and sales skills.
- Promising working experience in banking, personal banking, retail banking or financial services.
- Basic PC knowledge.
- Attention to detail and mathematical skills.
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills.
