Neurosurgery Team Lead / Charge Nurse

Role: Neurosurgery Charge Nurse (RN) responsible for leading a 21-bed unit specializing in cranial and spinal surgeries, neurological deficits, and stroke care. Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate patient care, develop individualized care plans, assess patient data, and collaborate with interprofessional teams to improve outcomes. Lead practice improvements, ensure evidence-based care, and enhance patient and family satisfaction. Act as a clinical resource, support staff development, and promote safety and quality standards. Participate in community health initiatives and ongoing professional development.Qualifications: Nursing diploma or associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years RN experience required; 5+ years preferred. Valid RN license essential. Leadership and critical thinking skills needed to manage complex cases and guide staff.
