Registered Nurse on the McClure 5 Neurosurgery Unit
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based care to neurosurgical and complex medical patients, including assessments, neuro and post-op monitoring, medication administration, and care coordination.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Support patient and family education, promote safe discharges, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current nursing licensure with relevant clinical experience in neurosurgery or medical-surgical settings.
- Strong assessment, monitoring, and medication administration skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a teaching hospital environment.
- Commitment to evidence-based practices, patient safety, and quality care.
