About the Role
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will provide inpatient neurosurgical care during night shifts at a 974-bed Level 1 Trauma Center, collaborating with a team of 9 Neurosurgeons and 9 Advanced Practice Providers to ensure 24/7 inpatient coverage.
Responsibilities
- Manage admissions, discharges, and consultations
- Assist in the operating room as needed
- Provide clinical management of patients across all ages
- Support a multidisciplinary team in a tertiary hospital setting
Requirements
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Prescriptive authority
Schedule
- Night shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- One week on, one week off rotation
- No call duties involved

This is an on-site role with a variable patient load at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
