Neurosurgery and Spine - Advanced Practice Provider (Greeley)

About the role

We provide full-service neurosurgery departments with acute hospital care, along with outpatient clinics. Locations include Banner Northern Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Banner Medical Center in Fort Collins, and HCA HealthOne Swedish in Denver. The schedule is Monday through Friday with clinic and first assisting in the operating room. There is rotating one in three weekend on-call and rotating weeknight call.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Neurosurgical care to adult patients
  • Care for patients in various settings including ED, ICU, trauma and medical floors, pre- and post-operative management, and clinic
  • In clinic, comfortable seeing new patients, follow-ups, post-ops, and patients with/without images
  • Work up patients for surgical plan independently to review with the surgeon
  • Responsible for assisting in urgent bedside procedures
  • First assist in OR
  • Collaborate and support the entire clinical team in supporting our patients
  • Provide on-call support in rotation with other PAs

Qualifications

  • Neurosurgery and/or Orthopedics surgery preferred
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • MUST HAVE SURGICAL ASSIST CERTIFICATION if you are an NP
  • Current and unrestricted Colorado license
  • Current and unrestricted DEA license
  • Current BLS
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay

The base salary starts at $140,000, plus a daily call stipend, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial well-being, and work-life balance.

M-F with clinic and first assisting in the OR, rotating one in three weekend on-call and rotating weeknight call.
