About the Role

Join a well-established neuroscience program and become part of a collaborative team providing comprehensive neurosurgical care in a busy regional referral center. This opportunity offers a broad case mix, strong clinical support, and the potential for leadership and academic involvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures, including:
  • Spine surgery (cervical, thoracic, and lumbar fusion/decompression)
  • Kyphoplasty
  • Spinal cord stimulator implantation
  • Craniectomy and cranioplasty
  • Shunt placement
• Collaborate closely with neurologists, neurointerventional radiologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive patient care
• Interpret diagnostic imaging including MRI, CT, and angiography for diagnosis and treatment planning
• Provide consultations, inpatient management, outpatient follow-up, and longitudinal patient care
• Opportunity for teaching and academic involvement, including potential faculty appointment with Michigan State University
