About the role
CoTrain is hiring on behalf of a team building decision-intelligence tools for businesses. They need a neuroscientist to help them understand the psychological and neurological foundations of consumer behavior and purchase intent.
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct neuroscience-informed studies on how consumers make purchasing decisions
- Analyze consumer data through the lens of cognitive science and behavioral neuroscience, identifying decision-making patterns clients can leverage for growth
- Translate complex neural mechanisms into actionable insights that inform product development and client strategy
- Oversee testing protocols, interpret biometric and behavioral data, and advise on experimental methodology to keep the research rigorous and applicable
Requirements
PhD or MS in neuroscience, cognitive science, or a closely related field from an Ivy League or top-tier research university
Comfortable working across consumer psychology, behavioral economics, and decision-making frameworks
Hands-on experience designing experiments, analyzing data, and communicating findings to non-expert audiences
You understand how brain science translates into real-world business applications
Detail-oriented, methodical, and excited about bridging academia and commercial innovation
Qualifications
