Neuroscience Specialist, Health and Science Professional - Palm Springs, CA
About the Role
As a Neuroscience Health & Science Professional (HSP) at Pfizer, you will play a crucial role in promoting a breakthrough therapy for patients suffering from migraine. Your primary responsibility is to increase territory sales and develop strong relationships with assigned customers and accounts through effective product promotion and strategic business management.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales in the assigned territory.
- Engage with customers both face-to-face and virtually.
- Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans.
- Identify and execute live/virtual engagement strategies to maximize impact.
- Build and maintain rapport with customers using digital tools.
- Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify and develop strategic business opportunities.
- Educate providers on product value propositions and disease state information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
- Complete administrative tasks on time and in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience as outlined below).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Professional Sales or Promotional Activity
- Small Business Owner or Entrepreneurial experience
- Marketing, Customer Service, and/or Account Management
- Relevant Healthcare/Scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT)
- Educator (e.g., Teacher, Principal)
- Full-Time Military experience
- Alternatively:
- Associate’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Must live within 25 miles of the territory border.
- Valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in the past 7 years).
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, or related marketing.
- Strong track record of sales or marketing success.
- Excellent territory management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
- Experience with relevant disease states, therapeutic areas, and products.
- Knowledge of territory customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Residency within the territory boundaries.

Pay
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $76,000 - $199,600. During initial new hire sales training, you will be classified as a salary non-exempt employee, entitling you to overtime pay. Upon training certification, you will become an overtime exempt employee. Additionally, this position offers a quarterly Sales Incentive bonus.
