  • Ensure teams carry out duties with honesty, professionalism, and integrity, aligned with the Novartis Code of Ethics and all relevant policies.

  • Experience managing field organizations through change, innovation, or growth.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales performance, leading cross-functional teams, and executing strategy within matrixed, multi-regional environments.

  • Experience building and completing business and incentive plans in highly sophisticated sales environments; demonstrated operational skills, financial and business acumen, and strategic and analytical thinking.
  • Must reside within the region or within a reasonable commuting distance to a metropolitan airport.
  • Ability to travel 60-80% over a broad geography; must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Driving is an essential function of this role and cannot be eliminated. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for otherwise qualified individuals with medical restrictions if the accommodation does not eliminate the essential function of driving.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership as a second-line sales manager.
  • Experience in a cross-functional role such as market access, reimbursement, or account management; understanding of payer landscapes, buy and bill, and specialty pharmacy.
