About the role

The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is growing and seeking board certified/eligible Neuroradiologists to join our team across diverse facilities, including Cohen Children's Medical Center (Pediatric Neuroradiologist), Mather Hospital, North Shore University Hospital & LIJ Medical Center, Northern Westchester Hospital, and Staten Island University Hospital. Opportunities exist in sub‑specialties such as Head and Neck Imaging, Pediatric Neuroimaging, and Dementia/Brain PET Neuroimaging. Northwell Health Radiology provides comprehensive screening, diagnostic and interventional services in a compassionate, patient‑centered environment, with close to 250 radiologists performing over 2 million scans annually.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine neuroimaging exams.
• Conduct advanced MRI and CT imaging of the brain, spine, head, and neck.
• Perform Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) and functional MRI (fMRI).
• Carry out perfusion imaging (CTP, MRP).
• Perform MR spectroscopy.
• Execute lumbar punctures, myelograms, and intrathecal chemotherapy.
• Perform post‑processing and 3D reconstruction.
• Support resident education at applicable sites.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE/BC) in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Completion of a Neuroradiology Fellowship.
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York.
