Neuropsychologist - Contract (1099) - Iowa

About the role

The Neurodiversity Center of Excellence is seeking a contract neuropsychologist to support provider network development efforts in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This position will be part of a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive functioning and identify areas of strength and need
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop strategies for managing neurodiversity within the provider network
• Provide training and education on neurodiversity and best practices for accommodating diverse populations
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote inclusivity and accessibility

Requirements

• PhD in Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology
• Current license to practice neuropsychology in Iowa
• Experience working with individuals who have neurodevelopmental disorders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel to various locations within Iowa as needed

Qualifications

• Knowledge of neurodiversity and its impact on healthcare delivery
• Experience with data analysis and reporting
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
