Neuropsychologist - Contract (1099) - Illinois

About the role

The Neurodiversity Center of Excellence is seeking a contract neuropsychologist to support provider network development efforts. This position will work closely with the team to develop strategies that enhance neurodiversity inclusion in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive functioning and identify areas of strength and need
• Develop and implement training programs for healthcare providers on neurodiversity awareness and best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create and maintain resources for neurodiverse patients and their families
• Provide consultation and guidance to healthcare organizations on integrating neurodiversity into their policies and procedures

Requirements

• PhD in Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology
• APA-accredited internship and postdoctoral training in neuropsychology
• At least 5 years of clinical experience in neuropsychology
• Experience working with individuals who have neurodevelopmental disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and project management skills
