About the role

North Star Behavioral Health is seeking a Neuropsychiatrist, Diagnostic Testing at their location in Anchorage, AK.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neuropsychiatric evaluations for patients referred by North Star Behavioral Health.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans based on neuropsychological findings.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and interpret results to support clinical decision-making.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies.
• Keep abreast of new developments in neuropsychiatry and diagnostic testing through continuing education and professional networks.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board certification in Psychiatry.
• Current Medical License in Alaska.
• Experience in neuropsychiatric evaluation and diagnostic testing preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Knowledge of neuropsychological assessment tools and techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
