Neuromuscular Neurologist

Role And Responsibilities The position involves providing expert care in neuromuscular disease within the Department of Neurology. The physician will manage outpatient and inpatient cases, perform and interpret EMG and evoked potential studies, and utilize techniques such as single-fiber, diaphragmatic, and ultrasound-guided EMG. The role includes participating in education for medical students, residents, and fellows, and engaging in clinical and neurophysiological research through collaborative efforts across Mayo Clinic sites. Qualifications And Skills Candidates must be board eligible or certified in Neurology and eligible for an Arizona Medical License. Prior post-fellowship experience and demonstrated academic productivity in neuromuscular disease are preferred. Strong clinical, research, and interpersonal skills are essential for effective teamwork and patient care. Key Duties Deliver comprehensive neuromuscular care, perform specialized neurophysiological testing, contribute to medical education, and participate in research initiatives to advance clinical practice and knowledge in neuromuscular medicine.
