Neurology RN - Hourly Rate

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Neurology, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs.
• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients or families.
• Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness to ensure safe practices.

Qualifications

• Educational background includes a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Licensure as an RN is required; no prior experience necessary, but less than two years of experience is preferred.
