Neurology Physician - Headache Medicine - AdventHealth Orlando, FL

About the role

The AdventHealth Neuroscience Institute and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a fellowship-trained Headache Neurology physician to join their expanding program in Central Florida.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with headache disorders within a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Collaborate with other specialists to offer integrated care at the Innovation Tower, a new facility featuring advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities.
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to the development of new treatment protocols.
• Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students.

Requirements

• Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
• Fellowship training in Headache Medicine and board certification/eligibility in Headache Medicine through UCNS.
• Experience in managing complex headache cases and a strong interest in headache medicine.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Neurology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating headache disorders.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Interest in academic activities and teaching.
