About the role
The Department of Neurology at Capital Health is seeking a full-time Headache Specialist to provide outpatient general Neurology services as part of the team at the Institute’s office practice. The physician will collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, primary care, and multi-specialty providers within Capital Health Medical Group.
This role supports the expansion of the neuroscience program at Capital Institute for Neurosciences, which delivers comprehensive diagnostics and treatments for brain, spine, and nervous system conditions. The Institute features a Joint Commission-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, a Primary Stroke Center, and is a NAEC Level 3 Epilepsy Center, with subspecialty programs in stroke, neurovascular, neurosurgical oncology, spine, epilepsy, movement disorders, concussion, and pain medicine.

Qualifications
- MD/DO Degree
- Completion of ACGME-approved neurology residency
- Eligible to obtain licensure in New Jersey
- Fellowship training in Headache Medicine
- Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE)

Pay
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 (full-time equivalent, 1.0 FTE).
Pay Range: $318,000.00 - $578,681.00. The listed range reflects base compensation for a full-time position; actual compensation may vary based on assigned hours, position status, experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Bonus or incentive eligibility is determined by role and level.
