About the Role
PIH Health is seeking an experienced Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our well-established, collaborative Neurology team in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside top-tier providers delivering advanced, patient-centered neurological care in a supportive and innovative environment.
- Join a network of 500+ physicians and advanced practice providers
- Work within a multidisciplinary care team including neurologists, surgeons, nurses, pharmacists, and dietitians
- Integrated EMR system across the organization for seamless care coordination
- Strong physician leadership and mentorship support
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with neurological disorders
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on treatment plans
- Provide patient and family education on neurological conditions and care plans
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, policies, and regulatory standards
- Document accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Current California PA/NP License
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- One to three (1-3) years of direct patient care clinical experience
- Evidence of continuing education and self-development to support license requirements
- Board Certification by the National Certification Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners
