About the Role
Seeking a Neurology provider for inpatient coverage in Lafayette, LA.
Responsibilities
- Cover stroke and general neurology inpatient services
- Manage a patient volume of 10-15 per day
- Provide 24-hour call coverage from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m.
- Collaborate with 3 nurse practitioners for stroke coverage (1-2 per shift) and 1 NP for general neuro coverage (Mon–Thu 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Fri 8 a.m.–12 p.m.)
Requirements
- Board certification in Neurology
- Active Louisiana medical license or IMLC license
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
