About the role

The Department of Neurology at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Faculty Member for its world-renowned Sleep-Wake Disorders Center. This position is based at the Moses division of Montefiore Medical Center, offering convenient access for patients from various regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services in sleep disorder diagnosis and treatment
• Develop and lead research programs funded by NIH, foundations, or industry
• Collaborate with other divisions within the department, including Pulmonary and Pediatrics, to integrate sleep programs
• Participate in a team led by Dr. Michael Thorpy, an international academic leader in Sleep medicine

Requirements

• Board-Certification in Sleep Medicine
• Interest in developing research programs
• Comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating sleep disorders
• Special interest in sleep disorders with a neurological focus

Qualifications

• Doctorate in relevant field
• Experience in academic and clinical settings
• Strong publication record or potential for future research success

Skills
