Neurology Assistant Nurse Manager

About the Role

Coordinates patient care, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and statistical tracking in a rehabilitation unit.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development.
• Develop and monitor departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, ensuring goals are met.
• Oversee patient care plans, ensuring interventions are appropriate for age and needs, and document accordingly.
• Collaborate on care plans based on assessments and medical treatment.
• Support staff scheduling, payroll reconciliation, staffing needs, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure staff productivity aligns with operational goals and conduct performance reviews.

Requirements

• RN license with a nursing diploma or associate’s degree.
• 2–5 years of experience; preferred bachelor’s degree with 5–10 years of experience.
• Experience in supervision is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Neurology experience is preferred.
