HCA Midwest Health is seeking an outpatient-only, experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join the neurosciences team in the Kansas City area.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient care as part of the neurosciences team
- Work collaboratively with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and advanced practice providers
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program
- 2+ years of experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Prior experience working with neurology patients required
- Experience in general neurology required
Schedule
- 4-10 hour shifts per week with some flexibility

About the Team
HCA Midwest Health Neurosciences Service Line is comprised of four neurologists, six advanced practice providers, and a team of stroke coordinators, all focused exclusively in the outpatient setting. The service line also includes 14 neurosurgeons with a variety of subspecialty interests within a general neurosurgery practice.
Our program encompasses the largest neurology market share in the Kansas City area, including one comprehensive stroke center at Research Medical Center and four primary stroke centers across South Kansas City.
As part of the neurosciences team, you’ll join HCA Midwest Health, the area's largest healthcare network and private-sector employer, with 150+ locations including hospitals, outpatient centers, physician clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, and other services.
