Neurologist (Outpatient Focus) | Belleville, IL | High Earning Potential

BJC Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist to join a growing, established neurology practice in Belleville, Illinois, just minutes from Downtown St. Louis, Missouri.

About the Role

Join a collaborative, outpatient-focused neurology practice with strong support and high earning potential. This role offers work-life balance, flexibility to tailor clinical interests, and a team-based environment with advanced practice provider (APP) support.

• 36 clinical hours per week with optional inpatient work available
• Full-scope general neurology practice with flexibility to pursue specific interests
• Procedures available but not required
• Neuro-hospitalist support for inpatient care
• Epic EMR for streamlined, integrated care

Responsibilities

• Provide professional medical services, including direct patient care, medical record completion, MyChart consultations, and in-basket management
• Manage inpatient hospital care through regular rounds or coordination with hospitalists
• Collaborate with patients, families, and care team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes at designated clinic locations
• Perform and document medical histories and physicals in patient records as required by hospital medical staff bylaws
• Arrange call coverage for clinic and inpatient care in accordance with BJC policies and medical staff bylaws
• Collaborate with and teach advanced practice providers and care team members

This is a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness and safe work practices.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Medicine
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
• Licensed Physician

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience

• Two-year guaranteed salary, transitioning to a productivity-based wRVU compensation model
