About the role

The Neurologist will be an integral part of the growing Epilepsy Division within the Department of Neuroscience at Atlantic Health, working at both Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center and Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with seizure disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Interpret electroencephalography (EEG) studies, including the analysis of long-term video EEG studies
• Identify suitable candidates and oversee the workup process for the placement of antiepileptic devices
• Collaborate with referring physicians and integrate with existing staff physicians

Requirements

• Successfully completed a 2-year epilepsy fellowship from an accredited program
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Neurology
• 2-year epilepsy fellowship from an accredited program preferred

Skills

• Proficient in assessing and treating seizure disorders
• Skilled in interpreting EEG studies
• Experience with antiepileptic device placements
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Pay

• $335,000–$365,000 base salary only; excludes any quality and/or productivity incentives
