Responsibilities

  • Treats mild to moderate closed head injuries and post traumatic headaches.
  • Offers in-house computerized neurocognitive testing, specifically ImPACT testing, as well as in-house vestibular, cognitive, and aquatic therapy.
  • Oversees the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
  • Prepares patients for return to work after illness or injury.
  • Recommends tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine the extent of injury and appropriate treatment.
  • Treats a high number of personal injury patients who have been injured on the job or due to the negligence of another, ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of documentation and reports.
  • Proffers testimony on behalf of some patients treated.
  • Upholds the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the company’s ESG goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • MD/DO from an accredited educational institution.
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland.
  • Board Certified in Neurology.
  • Favorable malpractice history.
  • Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • DEA license.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities.
  • Knowledge of medicine – including symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures.
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service – including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Physical/Mental Requirements: Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.

Pay

$170-$185 per hour.

Schedule

2-3 days per week (No weekends), 8-hour shifts.
