Neurointerventional Radiologic Technologist

Responsible for performing routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures under physician direction in Angio Interventional Radiology or Neuro IR services, including extra-cranial and intra-cranial angiography, vertebroplasty, spinal injections, myelograms, cisternograms, embolizations, cryoablations, coilings, and clot retrievals. Serves employees, medical staff, patients, and regulatory agencies, with priority on activities that directly affect customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic neurointerventional radiologic procedures
• Assist with extra-cranial and intra-cranial angiography
• Conduct vertebroplasty and other spinal injection procedures
• Perform myelograms and cisternograms
• Assist with embolizations, cryoablations, coilings, and clot retrievals
• Prioritize activities that directly impact customer service

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (required)
• New York State license as Radiologic Technologist (required)
• ARRT certification (required)
• Previous experience as a Neurointerventional Radiologic Technologist (preferred)

Pay

$37.00 - $55.50 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule

• Rotational shift
• 36 regular scheduled weekly hours
