Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, high-quality Neurodiagnostic testing, including routine and extended EEG testing.
- Support inpatient and long-term EEG monitoring, including electrode application and maintenance.
- Recognize and escalate significant clinical or electrographic events.
- Document findings and collaborate with physicians and other care team members.
- May be required to cover shifts at different Mayo Clinic locations and participate in EEG call rotations.
Qualifications
- Tech I: High school diploma/GED, completion of Mayo Clinic’s Neurotech Trainee program, or formal NDT education with 1 year of experience.
- Tech II: High school diploma/GED, formal NDT education with 3 years of experience, or associate’s degree in Neurodiagnostics with 3 years of experience.
- Tech III: High school diploma/GED, formal NDT education with 5 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree in Neurosciences with 3 years of experience, or master’s degree in Neurosciences with 2 years of experience.
Pay
- Level I: $27.99 - $41.98
- Level II: $30.54 - $45.87
- Level III: $33.39 - $50.13
Schedule
This position supports inpatient EEG and Long Term Monitoring services, working Monday through Thursday weeknights from 8pm-6:30am. No call, no weekend shifts.
