About the role
Assist in the detection of electro-cerebral silence and perform diagnostic tests such as EEGs, EMGs, and nerve conduction studies.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain digital EEG equipment
- Document patient care and equipment conditions accurately
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and patient rights
- Participate in performance improvement activities
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in performing EEG tests on multiple patients
- Basic Life Support certification
- Adherence to HR and departmental policies
- Proper documentation and safe equipment operation
- Participation in continuous improvement efforts
Skills
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk extensively
- Ability to perform activities such as kneeling, bending, and CPR
